Cheer Pack N.A.’s commitment to sustainability can be summed up in our mantra, ‘Mindful Packaging®’.

Consumers eyes are now on the packaging and will pay a premium for sustainable packaging. Please see below for supporting information.

As an example of our ESG investment strategy, Cheer Pack N.A.’s plant in Massachusetts is covered with solar panels generating 30%+ of our facility’s annual electrical needs. This combined with our auto shut off lighting system is the equivalent in removing over 1,900 cars annually from the road!

Source Reduction is the most preferred packaging solution in the Hierarchy of Sustainability.

  • Cheer Pack® spouted pouches check this critical box by delivering the best product-to-package weight ratio: 35:1. This translates up to 93% less in CO2 emissions vs. other packaging types.

Sustainability — Cheer Packs N.A.’s Commitments to Improving Our Environment

Our ongoing Environment Management Programs focus on lowering our carbon footprint.

Select projects:

  • Installed 144,354 sq ft of solar panels > generating 2.4 million kWh per year > delivering 21.0% of our facility’s annual electric needs.

    • This is equivalent to saving 1,655 tons of CO2 annually

  • Auto shut off lighting system saving 225,651 kWh and 159 tons of CO2 annually

  • These 2 equate to removing 1,933 cars annually from the road in CO2 emissions savings!

  • Capture at least 20% PIR resin in our spouted pouch rails = 192K pounds in annual savings
